WildChiswick Founder and Chair, Joanne Gilbert has recently published her second book about young Snout the Hedgehog.
Snout is a young hedgehog who, in the first book “Snout’s first trip out” , went for his first trip out with his mother who taught him and his sisters all the best places to find food and what was the most tasty morsels to eat.
In book 2, “Snout’s First Friend”, Snout leaves his family to live on his own, as do all hedgehogs when they reach a certain age. This book follows Snout on new dangers and adventures and how he survives with the help of friends both old and new!
Beautifully illustrated by Izzy Bean, both these books have a lovely story line and are educational, showing children how to help hedgehogs keep safe and thrive.
