FREE event.
Recording species is very important and often overlooked as a good way to help local wildlife. It can be a fun and relaxing way to take part in citizen science.
Victoria Kleanthous from Greenspace information for Greater London (GiGL) will join us on evening of 18th June at Deny’s Hall, Church Street at 6.30pm to explain the work they do at GiGL and how we can all help record species across Chiswick, and other areas, to help build a green database of local flora and fauna.
Vicky will show how successful the GiGL database can be! A good example is it’s use to help save the green space – Warren Farm.
After the talk we will spend time recording species in the Church Cemetery so you can either try iNaturalist app or the wildchiswick.com/naturesurvey form and begin to help nature via citizen science!
