As part of our nature survey competition, we have put together a few ID sheets to help you look for certain species and help you ID them. The ID sheets don’t contain all species to be found, so keep and eye out for more! Record what you see with a photograph and enter it into our nature survey. There are prizes to be won! Look at nature, enjoy nature and help local wildlife.
Oh – don’t forget the creatures you think we may not be interested in because they are common – foxes, rats, duck, heron, squirrel are all relevant.
Species we are really keen to know about are hedgehogs, kestrels, stag beetles, muntjac deer, badger, red kites, field or bank voles, house mouse and swifts.
