Ruth has been working in countryside management for 10 years both for the National Trust and more recently, at the Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew. She has a passion for the UK countryside and the biodiversity within it.  Ruth carries out butterfly surveys and is committed to finding ways in which we can help protect and continue to enjoy these wonderful creatures in our gardens and green spaces.

Ruth will share some of her experiences with us and explain the ecology of the butterfly.  She will also give us tips on how to encourage butterflies into our gardens and tell us which species to expect to see around Chiswick and the London Area.
