November 2022, we had the pleasure of hosting 12 pupils from Chiwick School who came along to help us develop the wildlife allotment.
Organised by Time Givers, the pupils helped start a dead-hedge, dig a trench for a living hedge, build a hibernaculum for amphibians, insects and reptiles and clear an area of ground ivy and planted some bulbs. The Chair of Chiswick Horticultural and Allotment Society talked to the students during lunch which was kindly hosted by CHAS in their Trading Hut. The pupils all enjoyed their time with us and we were pleased to have the help!
